Florida lottery winner, 20, thanks well-wishers on Twitter: 'This is only the beginning'

Shane Missler logged on to social media Friday as a richer man.

The 20-year-old sole winner of the fourth-largest Mega Millions jackpot in history — $451 million — was met with a frenzy of well-wishers, financial advisers and those hoping for a handout. His follower count grew by the minute.

"Thank you everyone for the positive thoughts," he tweeted around 6 p.m. Friday with a prayer hands emoji. "This is only the beginning. I am truly grateful and most appreciative."

Unsurprising for an apparent Boston sports fan, based on posts from his social media accounts, Missler's tweet included a gif, or an animated image, of Boston Celtics' power forward Kevin Garnett basking in the glory of winning the 2008 NBA championship. The gif was captioned, in all capital letters, "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!"

Missler opted for the lump sum Mega Millions payout of $281.9 million. After taxes, the amount is $211.4 million.

With that much cash, anything IS possible.
